A Roetz is equipped with 1-speed (no gears), 3-speed or 7-speed: 

. A 1-speed bike has one fixed stage position and a coaster brake. 

. A 3-speed bike has three gears and a coaster brake. 

. A 7-speed bike has seven gears and front and rear hand brakes (Shimano rollerbrakes). 

For the 3-speed and 7-speed we use the Shimano Nexus acceleration system that is user-friendly and reliable. The 3-speed has a clickbox on the right racing end. With the 7-speed a gear hub is mounted in the rear wheel. 

It's also possible to assemble a 1-speed or 3-speed bike with an extra front rollerbrake. Contact us for your request.
